Windows Vista & GlassShop Systems 9.0
Windows Vista will be the new flagship operating system from Microsoft.
Now that we have several copies running in our office, we like the
new look, and we appreciate the options to set up your computer
for home or office use. This seems to tighten up some of the commands.
Also absent are the persistent logos and links to Internet Service
Providers which always confused new users.
GlassShop works great with Vista!
We highly recommend Vista for new computers, but we have some
concerns regarding hardware. Since Vista has an enhanced visual
presentation, you will need to have a newer computer with high graphics
capabilities. Try going to your local Best Buy or Circuit City these
days to find a new graphics card!
One part of the process that makes it a bit easier, is that computers
are now sold "Vista Capable" or even "Vista Premium
Ready". This makes it easier when shopping for a new computer.
