Windows
95
Microsoft does not support Windows 95, therefore, we
cannot continue to support this OS. In some circumstances,
it is plausible to use a Windows 95 computer as a client,
but is not recommended.
NT
Workstation
Because of the age of this operating system, and the
lack of comprehensive support, we do not recommend placing
mission-critical on these types of systems.
Windows
98, 98SE
We will provide limited support for these operating
systems. We strongly recommend fully updated systems
with Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater.
Windows
ME
Though GlassShop will operate on ME, we do not recommend
this operating system in a business application. We
recommend a complete OS redo and upgrade to XP Home
or XP Professional for these machines.

Databases
Native Database Support
All GlassShop Systems include a database engine that
works well in both a single user and a multiple user
environment.
MSDE
(Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine)
This is an option with the GlassShop Central applications,
for the main database. GlassShop also uses this for
support in XML transactions.
SQL

We recommend upgrading to 2000 before implementing
GlassShop or integrating applications. Not supported.
SQL
Server 2000
We support and recommend this database engine for all
GlassShop Central applications. We have tested through
SP3a.
SQL

We are presently testing our applications on the Beta
releases.
