Settting up Unit of Measure Cross-Reference

Great Plains creates a new Unit of Measure Schedule for each item that you create. Therefore, you will need to "tell" GlassShop how you want to sell each item. You'll see, in this window, everything is set to "Area (feet)", but you can set to sell by linear foot, linear inch, united inch, unit,


for Great Plains

Create the correspondence between the U of M Schedule and the sell by. (Cases are units). Instead of the numbers in the above window for the Unit of Measure Schedule, you'll see the Unit of Measure schedules you indicated in Great Plains. Great Plains will NOT create a Unit of Measure for each item like in SBF, so this window only needs to be accessed once, as soon as you have your schedules entered.
